Exhibit Description

The Costen Cultural Exhibit entitled “To God Be The Glory” is a collection of rare photographs, ephemera, memorabilia and collectibles that has been custom designed to travel to your location and show viewers the accomplishments of Americans with an emphasis on African Americans throughout history. It can be delivered directly to any site and be set up for small or large viewings.

There are approximately 250 - (16”x 20”) plastic panels, containing over 2,000 items that compile the entire exhibit. Each panel holds up to eight items of photos, ephemera, or memorabilia. Because many establishments do not have ample exhibit space, this exhibit has been designed to fit on tables pushed up against the wall. Each 16”x 20” plastic panel is rigid enough to stand up on the back side of the table and lean against the wall. The matching panel can lay flat in front of it on the table. Included also is a biographical description of each panel. If needed in rare occasions, panels can be hung or displayed on walls in frames. There have been occasions also where the panels have leaned on the back of chairs. Whatever your situation, the exhibit can probably fit within it.

The entire exhibit can be set up as a timeline to show accomplishments and events that have happened from slavery to the present or it can be customized to address specific topics, including:

Actors & Actresses Directors: Film, TV, Stage Slavery
